Open stringpitch.app/app in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. If Safari offers Open as Web App, leave it enabled to launch in a separate web-app window. On older versions, the icon may open StringPitch in Safari.
Open stringpitch.app/app in Chrome, open the browser menu, choose Add to Home screen or Install and create shortcut, then follow the prompts. Depending on your browser, you may see Install app, Install or Create shortcut. Launch StringPitch from the Home Screen or app launcher; a shortcut opens it in Chrome.
Home Screen access uses the browser version of StringPitch and needs an internet connection. It is not a native store download.
Open the app over HTTPS, allow microphone access for stringpitch.app, select the correct device in Settings, close other applications using that microphone and reload. The microphone-level meter and adjustable gate help diagnose quiet or noisy inputs.
In Play a Sheet, use the input-mode control to switch to twelve note buttons or a virtual fretboard. The tuner and microphone-scored modes still require a suitable audio input for live detection.
Modern browsers require a click or tap before audio starts. Interact with the app once, check the site’s audio permission and then use replay, strum or reference-tone controls. Opening the app in its own tab is more reliable than the embedded frame.
Easy difficulty is free in Pitch a String, Pitch a Chord, Play a Sheet, Key Signatures, Written Intervals and Written Chords, including for users who are not registered. Tuner and Chord Builder are also free for everyone. A registered user receives five hours of active trial time for Medium, Hard and Custom training difficulties. Easy difficulty, menus, Settings, Statistics, Subscription, Tuner and Chord Builder do not consume trial time. When the trial ends, every training mode remains available on Easy while the higher difficulties require Premium.
The plans offer final tax-inclusive consumer prices of €2 monthly, €20 yearly and €50 lifetime access, with the active trial discount shown before purchase. Selecting a plan only opens Stripe Checkout; payment is made only after the order is reviewed and confirmed in Stripe. Monthly and yearly access renew until canceled. A card issuer may still charge separately for currency conversion.
To end your subscription, open Account → Subscription → Cancel subscription. Where StringPitch’s billing records confirm that a statutory withdrawal right is still available, the dialog offers the separate Withdraw from the contract action.
Use Delete account in Account/Profile or follow the Data Deletion instructions. The deletion dialog links recurring subscribers to Subscription first. Permanent deletion is blocked until trusted billing records confirm that the next renewal is canceled or the recurring contract has otherwise ended; deleting the account never substitutes for a withdrawal statement.
Not yet. Native mobile apps are in development. In the meantime, you can add the web app to your iPhone, iPad or Android Home Screen using the instructions above.
Personal imports are stored in this browser's database where available, or only in the open tab if durable storage is unavailable. They are not uploaded to the server and do not follow account sign-in to another device. Keep your own source files.
